Tools found at my new job
« on: July 02, 2021, 03:56:41 PM »
These tools, and the two to be posted in the What Is It? forum, are in the shop at St Joseph's cemetery where I am now the guy in charge of machine maintenance.  Liking this job very much so far.  Part time, 7 to 11 AM Monday - Friday and a decent rate of pay.
Two! Henry and Allen, of Auburn NY (local) 24" pipe wrenches.

If I remember correctly I think this is a Ken-Tool tire iron - but what is the other end for?

Found in a corner, a Dewars Highlander walking stick.  You can see where someone used it as a hammer, the dolt.

There are many other interesting tools in the shop, including almost complete sets of 70's style Snap-On long combos inch and metric as well as several larger size Blue Point combos.  Some Bonney and Proto wrenches.
Check the What Is It forum.

Very cool. Haven’t seen anything like the last two pictures.

Man, it sounds like you've hit the jackpot! Being in charge of machine maintenance at St. Joseph's Cemetery sounds pretty cool. I also considered a similar career but then decided to study for a lawyer, as I passed my Sarkari Exam great. Those pipe wrenches – Henry and Allen – local legends, huh? And I've gotta say, I admire your detective skills on that Ken Tool tire iron, but seriously, what's with that mysterious other end? Any guesses?

Hello A. I'm guessing the odd looking end might be for split rims!
