I think he will have 6 or 7 Hilary Klein wrenches in this auction. I have started a list and I have 70 so far on the list. 64 are listed in the December 2005 XTRA that was included in the MVWC News Letter. The balance have been listed in auctions that I could research or I have examples in my collection. I have upped my collection to 21. If anyone is interested I can post my list here. Hilary didn't make any this past winter. It is the first year in a long time that he didn't produce a miniature wrench.

I have owned 2 of them over the years. They come up on occasion and average around $300 if they are in good shape. The ones I have seen are 10 inches long. Martin Donnelly sold one at his September 2015 Indy auction but I don't have what the hammer price was handy. Nice find and is a keeper in my book but I'm partial to any quick adjust wrench I can find.

Lewill2 - Although your list above was posted some time ago, it provided me with several names and brands I had not yet discovered.
There were a few of them that I skipped over. Some of them had small mix-ups on dates or patent numbers or spelling.
I'm taking the liberty of posting what I found in the hope the information may be of use to others.

Re: Miniature Collectors take notice!
« Reply #11 on: March 07, 2021, 10:25:22 AM »
The thread was written in response to Hilary Klein miniature wrenches that were offered in a MJD auction. I am an avaid Hilary Klein wrench collector with over 70 different examples in my collection. I have written a booklet on the history of Hilary and his miniatures as well as an article for The Fine Tool Journal. If anyone would like an electronic copy of the booklet you can message me your email address and I will send it to you. Your email will have to accept larger files as the current PDF file is about 18,700kb.

Thanks for the added information, there were and probably still are a few typos here and there.
