Yeah, make him an offer. Worse that can happens is he says no.

But that is kinda steep.

I have had better luck getting sellers to accept offers if I wait until after their auction expires.


.......of course, that runs the risk of somebody else coming along and paying what they are asking for it.  :/

Where did all these 1212 Pebbles go?  I'm in the same dilemma, I need this one to complete my Plomb set, $25 is just way too much though.  I guess I have to start hitting the estate sales...

Offers are good, but sometimes they are way too low to even consider. Today I posted a  Billings Coes 8 inch monkey wrench on Ebay for a starting price of $10. I immediately got an offer of $8. I told the guy I would stick with my starting price and take my chanches on a 7 day auction pushing the price up some.
