1960s craftsman jigsaw
« on: November 18, 2011, 07:58:07 AM »
I hope it is not in bad taste to have my first post to be selling something.  This forum was reccommended on Garage Journal as a board that people have some love/ appreciation for vintage tools.

Here are a couple pictures of the saw and case.

As you can see in the pics it is a two speed.  The directions look faded in the pic, but I assure all of you that is just the flash.  I told photophucket to flip the instruction sheets right side up....  The second sheet is an instruction sheet for the case.  Made in USA is plastered all over this thing.  The case measures 9x10.5x14.  According to my bathroom scale it weighs 7 lbs.  The saw turns on and sounds fine (no screaming bearings) but when you try to cut wood it slows down.  I am not looking to make a fortune on a tool that needs work, I was thinking maybe $20 plus cost of shipping?  Most of all I want to see this jigsaw go to someone who will appreciate it.  Any other questions lemme know.

We'll let you slide this time! Just try to find the Introduction Forum and introduce yourself.
Also- Tool Talk requires you to state shipping terms and payment terms up front, and a firm price.
