Interesting Mossberg socket
« on: January 06, 2022, 04:12:18 PM »
This 1 3/32" socket has been permanently attached to this short 1/2" square rod (probably part of an extension) and then the top has been stepped to accept 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch push through old type ratchets.  They made a good job of it, but why??

those look a lot like the square step-ups on the old faucet seat tool (other end usually hex).   strange

There are marks on the step up that indicate it was made with files.
