Alexander Steam Show
« on: September 07, 2018, 07:38:07 PM »
Been waiting for this and Wow a beautiful weather day.  This is a great show with a lot of variety of machines.  But a terrific flea market with many vendors and very many of them either specializing in tools or at least selling some tools.  I found all 4 remaining SK 3/8 dr metrics to complete a set.
I want to put this engine in my lawn tractor...

And then put new wheels on my lawn tractor...

Another bike builder but younger made himself a swing bike - note the two steering assemblies...

Brought home all this and couple goodies for Mrs. E as well...

Funnel, Millers Falls 79 hacksaw, PPG windshield cutter,  unknown plier tool - auto?, Starrett 6" rule in excellent condition only the vinyl sheath is dirty, General S-94 set of 4 pin vises, another pin vise only marked USA with 6 micro drill bits in the hollow handle, the 4 SK metric sockets I needed plus another SK tray and 1/2-3/8 adapter, Chandler (Pump) Co. Yoke Wrench, Hudson wrench is for oxygen regulator?,  5 Craftsman sockets I needed,  neat unmarked 1/4 ratchet,  Diamond 11" auto wrench,  K-D 130 carb adjuster (no bit),  Made In England wrench BSF sizes closely resembles T Williams Superslim type,  13mm Allen combo and two metric German open ends chrome plate,  and a Maisto Jeep Liberty die cast toy car.
I brought home a large dog crate for one of my wife's rabbits to live in this winter and found her two beautiful ceramic rabbit figurines.  Hey, you can't come home without somethin' special, right?

that rusty tool, 3rd down on the left, I was thinking a fly wheel turner, but may have second thoughts on that due to the size of the bottom jaw.

I was sorta hoping it was a flywheel turner but found that it's a pump yoke wrench.

Low, I couldn't make the show. I had to take my mother to emergency care for asthma problems.
