Keen Kutter pipe wrench

Any Keen Kutter fans out there?

Bought a KK fat handle Model K8 yesterday and was wondering about its date.

Anyone know when they began making pipe wrenches, and when they quit on what they called the oval grip models and went to the straight handle models exclusively?

I see my wrench in a couple of e-bay cats from 1917 and 1918.
