Looking To Buy 3 PWA Tools
« on: September 14, 2017, 10:09:14 AM »
Hi all,
I'm looking to buy 3 PWA tools, as I work on old radial engines for fun on the weekends:

PWA2745   Thrust ring wrench
PWA3275   Bearing race puller
PWA3267   Starter cog nut socket, probably a 3/8"

I have jpgs of these tools from the overhaul manual if needed.

Any help or pointers gratefully appreciated.

It's a socket only I think, not a t-wrench.  Could be wrong...

This one I can fabricate, but need to remove the thrust nut first.  Hence the need for the TNW in Pic 1

     the P &W R-2800 Double Wasp engine was a ww2 workhorse.

2800 cubic inch  and weighed over a ton.

it powered; Grumman Hellcat, Vought F4U Corsair and  the Republic P-47 Thunderbolts.
