curious about what kind of homemade tools other people make.. i make all kinds of my own tools. people think its weird i spend all my time playing in the garage.. and that i call it playing.. lol
off hand ive made shop presss, engine run stands, engine hoist, crank shaft balancer, cam bearing install tool, car dollys.. most of the time what ever i was working on the needed the tool would take days longer to complete than just going and buying it.. but what fun is that..
this was one of my first welding projects.. the first design didnt work so well.. but the final ive had for 7 years or so.. used it for ball joints, piston pins.. smashing hot wheels.. lol..  ive always just modified it to fit what ever the task at hand was.. like removing piston pins i made a mount to hold the rod assembly right on it.. worked well for pressing out 12 pins
