Auction goodies
« on: October 24, 2017, 06:04:29 PM »
Went to an auction yesterday and had to purchase 3 different box lots to get all the pieces to a circle H craftsman 1/2 drive socket set.
Now don't get me wrong, buying all three lots wasn't a bad thing.

pic 1      Craftsman 1/2 drive  BE ratchet and extension
Craftsman Long C punch marked BC
             Craftsman 1/4 drive BE Set
             and the circle H set

Pic 2      North Bros 131A Spiral Ratchet Screw Driver
             Several K&F files
             2 Vlchek DOE's
10" Weil Adjustamatic, made in japan, seems to be well made
2 Walden Worchester 4564-2 Ford brake band adj wrenches
Fuller #194 Japan linesman pliers  (wasn't the nested diamond grip pattern a craftsman thing)
Powermaster Spain pump pliers   (another one with an interesting grip pattern. It almost fooled me when I was previewing the lots)
             Wiss A12 Tin Snips 8"
No name Japan hose clamp pliers again seem to be well made

Pic 3      Huffy 5447 usa made filter wrench
             Craftsman and Dunlap feeler gauges
             Dunlap Cape chisel
             Thorsen & Proto deep Sockets
             Williams shallow socket
             Uniweld torch tip cleaner
             Williams 6" superjustable wrench
             Armstrong 8" pipe wrench
Keystone Wescott no. 78 8" nut wrench
             Craftsman  3/8 drive extention
             Herbrand 177 battery terminal pliers
             AC marked  Reechet ratchet
            Craftsman 4oz. hammer
            Craftsman CI    offset DBE
            Armstrong F-40 3/8 drive breaker
            McCaig Hatch tire chain pliers
and everyone need one of these in the shop this one is the Schmidts version

Also I couldn't let this go to scrap

A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

I have a thing for Crafty BE and H Circle as well as the comparable New Britain pre-war sets.
The ORIGINAL Northwoods.
