I am one of those folks that is in love with human ingenuity.  I am fascinated by how things are made.  One of my loves is tools and figuring out what something was used for.  I am usually pretty good at figuring it out.  Have been taking things apart since I was a kid, just to see how they were made.

I am a car guy (MG's) and also do a lot of other things.  I am frugal, which means I always try to fix something myself.  One of my other hobbies is making props for your folks SciFy and anime conventions. 
My favorite creation.  I made a Ghost Buster Dancing Toaster.

Catch22,  welcome to tool talk.  where do you call home these days ?

MG's ?   in 1961 when I got out of the Army, all I had was a 1953 MG - TD  and a  250cc Allstate motorcycle that I
rode home on from Ft. Bragg, N.C. to Massachusetts that I paid $100 for 3 weeks before my duty was over.
we went on our honeymoon in the MG, then after the lil ones started coming, it was good by MG.  (WE BOTH MISS IT)

I had an MGA in the early 70's, along with a Triumph motorcycle. Miss them both.

I tried to buy an MGB.  1978, I think.  It had the electric overdrive on the shift lever.  Ran like a scalded monkey.  But it was brown.  Couldn't make myself do it.
Got a 64 1/2 Mustang coupe in Rangoon Red instead.  Really loved it.
