OT: Helpfull map
« on: November 11, 2011, 08:50:43 PM »
Flikr has a thing now that tries to draw a map of the location reported by the person who took a picture, why that is important I have no clue, in any case, here's the helpful map I got today...

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

I use it to map all my photos on Flickr so that the location is marked for viewers. It is done by the photographer, not Flickr. If you don't handle the cursor just right, you won't get the spot marked correctly.

Ahh, I guess it makes sense for a picture of a place...I was looking at objects...

I still think it's funny that the mapping software thinks someone would want a map of nothing located nowhere ;P
