Hello, I have had these for a while, I hope that I haven't posted them before. The ratchet in the first group of photos has a raised PAT. PEND. , there is another figure, may be a letter or a number. I believe the bolt at the bottom is what keeps tension on the head within the yoke, a rod runs through the square tube handle, & connects to the yoke. There is no detent ball, but there is a spring tab in the opening, running vertically in a slot within the opening. The square opening measures 21/32, and the overall length of the tool is 10-1/8". The next group shows an unmarked ratchet, fine tooth exposed gear, and the steel head looks like 2 pieces pressed together. The opening measures 1/2", and there are 2 opposing shallow grooves running vertically within the opening, overall length is 9". Regards, Lou
