Big plane blades

last night's auction coughed up a box of  plane blades.

I would have guessed they were for  some molding planes except they are way too big.

any ideas what they are for?  Industrial work?  sawmill?

Look like perfectly normal shaper cutters from a lumber mill to me.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance!
