Post Drill Wrenches
« on: December 31, 2015, 02:38:31 PM »
Does anyone collect 'chuck' wrenches for post drills?

What would have been provided by Champion or Buffalo or Canedy-Otto?
Were other wrenches supplied also, such as for adjusting the table height?

Thanks, and Happy New Year.

Is this the type of wrench we're discussing?  There's another type with straight handle and just the square drive.

Sort of.
I think that they are usually single end with the square boss projecting out to reach in the recess for the locking screw.
There is a picture here:

Right edge down a little from the top.
Red drill, BEAUTIFUL plaid shirt.

Are these Post Drill Wrenches?  I saw the original post and remembered I have a few of them.  I purchased them knowing the were old and unique, and thinking they were for a metal lathe.  Not much invested in any of them, and I maybe have enough drills to put all of them to work.

They very well might be.
Especially the top one with the projecting socket.
Thanks for the picture.
