Had a super weekend!
« on: September 20, 2015, 09:01:18 PM »
Started off Wed and Th with some sales. Picked up the following:
Indestro 18-piece wall hanger socket set (the handyman hex special)
Pair of D189/D190 check row pliers like those discussed here
Plumb Boy Scout hatchet
Plumb single bit axe
Craftsman ball peen (these three without handles)
Stanley 24 oz ball peen (
Promotion nail puller (Nolan Grain Co, Westphalia & Aliceville, Kan)  This one matche the twin in my collection from Och's Elevator co. Utica Ks.
8 3/4" No. 2 alligator by Whitman & Barnes
Craftsman utility knife (for my collection of non-retractables)
No-name aluminum marking knife with replacable blades
Utica 8" adjustable (c. 1941)
Estwing leather wrap hammer
Small no-name vice with 2 1/2" jaws (It was blue with liberal splatters of white; now, it's basic black.)
Followed this up with a trip to Winfield, Ks., for two days of bluegrass music.  https://wvfest.com/
BTW, I took two well-deserved naps today!

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
