Another orphan ?
« on: December 21, 2011, 01:03:28 PM »
I have done the easy part; the part number of this wrench is (-E-3021). I cannot decipher the two missing characters and probably could not identify it if I could read them. Prior owner evidently sprayed with lacquer and I may remove it to aid in identifying it if necessary. If some one has some insight into its identity I would be very appreciative. I think I have seen one of these either in picture or in hand but my recall button is stuck in off. Came from collector auction so have no history.

Years ago, on a wrench hunting expedition in Lancaster Co. PA, we ran into an antiques dealer who kept all the wrenches he picked up in a rain barrel full of rainwater. They all looked like this tool. Why do folks do that? It sure makes identification of a nice tool like this one difficult.

Disregard last transmission. Thats army radio operator talk (A former occupation)
I found a wrench like this  in Virgil Saak auction. Turns out to be a  Ford aftermarket wrench. The part no is (EE & Co. 21) instead of  (-E-3021) Sorry I didn't search further before posting.

Jimwrench, while picking tools for the give-a-way I found one like yours.

Seem to be a  little common now that I do some searching. Found one in Saak auction, one in Nail auction, and one in Marshall auction. Still do not know who EE & Co. were
