Picked her up earlier. It's mine now, along with its payments. I was gonna take pictures but it's to dark now.

I left work for a while to go get her. Like little kids I got back an we all were kicking the tires. We were gonna take her for a ride when one of course I saw a pallet we had delivered today. It said the shipping weight was 1420 lbs. We loaded it in back an off we went. Hopped on the expressway an she did great.

Not many trucks can carry 1420# plus driver and passengers with ease.
You should get pretty good fuel mileage with it. Keep accurate records and let us know.

It was able to get up to speed reasonbly well. It also had no problem handling. It still stopped better then my old truck did empty.

According to the owners brochure thing, the rated payload is 3880. The towing capacity is 9500. Curb weight is 6020. The GCWR is 16k. For a single rear axle ide say that's pretty darn good.

I obivisly don't plan on hauling around excess weight everyday. However I won't be worried to go pick up whatever for a weekend side job.

Funny thing is my friend would never step foot in my rust bucket before, always had to meet somewhere or take her car. Now she's not complaining about how my stupid truck is to messy/smelly/noisy an the ac an radio don't work.

Nola I can't begin to tell you how glad I am you and not me has to wash that white truck.

Maybe Chili can send you some sprinkler heads for Christmas and you can build a truck shower.

Good luck, and CHECK the filters with your own eyeballs.  I've seen more than 1 dealer change filters and still have the new filter in inventory.
