Anybody know this manufacturer?

Hello,
I found this neat forum in my search for the manufacturer of these impact sockets. I just recently came across a box of sockets of Proto, Mac, Challenger and Wright. I found a few of these old impact sockets but its driving me crazy not knowing who made them. They have what appears to be "WW" inside a circle, at the end of the size it has the letters PD stamped. I do not see any USA markings. I tried looking online and no luck. Any hints would help a lot. Thank you in advance.

WW in a circle would be Walden Tool Co. in Worcester, Massachusetts

SW in a circle would be Stevens-Walden in Worcester, Massachusetts after the merger of the
two companies.

yes, both are the same company.

Walden tool co. was one of the 1st companies to make aftermarket wrenches for the
automobile trade in the early 1900's.

the early transition from blacksmith shop to automobile repair shops.
