These safety glasses from the 30s were in the bottom of a box I bought.   Lenses are really speckled from grinding,   Wanted to snap this in front of a machinist box, but that is too deeply buried.   What do you think?

Hah, I'm surprised that safety glasses even existed back then! None of the machinists in the old photographs I have are wearing glasses. It's funny/sad, there are pictures of guys snagging castings, white hot sparks flying everywhere, and all they have on their face is a squint.


Cool old set of glasses though. I'll bet the steampunk crowd would pay you big money for them.
