Hi Tom, Welcome from Florida. The guys on here do real well identifying the unknown. Get a couple pictures up and see what happens. It also helps if you post the measurements and any marks that may be present.

I really interested in talk about Lewis vise. I seen the picture, I have the first one that was made. it marked #1.date is before 1900. I having a hard time posting things. cannot get to a screen to ask questions.

Hello again I from NY retired shop teach. they is talk about Lewis Vise. I have one marked #1. you can tell it older by it design. vise is really cool.
