Title: 7" Snail brand Auto wrench...
Post by: 64longstep/Brian on May 02, 2011, 04:39:49 AM
I picked this up be for the old forum went down. I though the pin was possibly bent but it wasn’t, the adjuster wheel was rusted to the pin. With a lot of liquid wrench and cussing I got it freed up and it now works like a charm. Now I just need to fined its bigger brothers…

I don't have any snail brands that I know of, but it is a cute little shorty! Glad you got it freed up.

Snail or any other brand
How are these typical auto wrenches disassembled?
How does the pin come out?

Thanks
Tom

Most are staked in, unlike "crescent" type that are usually screwed in, then sometimes staked.
