I picked up a 1-1/4" x 1" DBE 45 degree offset marked 350370R1 a couple of weeks ago. It appears to be the same wrench discussed here: http://www.papawswrench.com/vboard/index.php?topic=1252.0
Yes the 350370R1 is a dbe used on Farmall C and Farmall 100,130,140 and Farmall 200,230 and 240 according to Irps. Listed as drawbar wrench and quick attachable wrench.
I appreciate the information on the wrench documented in that thread.
Was any information found to be documented on who made the wrench? Was there any part of the information that might lead to WHEN the wrench was distributed (for the duration of all models noted?)?

The C came out in 1948 or so, the numbered series in the 50's, but keep in mind the tools and parts continue for quite a while after...(60's/70's?)

I had one of those some time ago, it brought decent money on ebay, if I recall correctly.

I have a 1949 Farmall Super A down to the frame in the garage restoring it. I'm curious to find out if the wrench, or an alike, might have been paired with the Super A. There is a place on the frame (metal tab'd brackets) in front of the seat for a wrench of that size and form.

Irps list shows this wrench issued with Farmall C series

At the risk of looking like an idiot, what exactly is Irps? Sounds like a research tool, and I'm researching :)

It is a collector's guide to International Harvester tools. It is published by a fellow named Gilbert A. Irps. To order it, you need to write him at:
Gilbert Irps
3156 Old Waldron Road
Kankakee, IL 60901-6013
Gilbert puts out an extensive listing of International Harvester & merged companies-only tools list. It is at least 27 pages long (8 1/2" x 11") although he does add to it as time goes on from what I understand, so it could be more. I have no idea if he charges for it, or if he gives it out for free.
Is Irps still around? I haven't heard much about him in a while.

Sorry about not being complete with Irps reference. Yes Gil is still around, saw him at Goodfield,Il auction this fall. He does charge for his list but its pretty nominal (guessing around $14-20). Mvwc newsletter has an ads page that I unfortunately throw away after reading. Gils list ad and cost is contained. I'm sure he will be glad to give you price over phone. I'll pm oily with Gils phone number as I don't know if he wants it on web. My list is seven years old and I need to be ordering a replacement also.

Thank you both. I appreciate the information and contact information (I did get your PM with number). I will reach out to see if I may obtain a copy. I'd like to find out what wrench was with the 49 Super A, not to mention I'd like to know better when I'm running across a Farmall wrench.

Isn't that bracket for the hand crank?

Two brackets (a single and a double), and the double is for the hand crank.

I understand this is an extremely old thread but I found one of these wrenches last weekend. Doing cross-comparisons with my round shank inventory, I'm pretty confident I can say they were made by P&C.
