Title: Williams no.1981A socket wrench in 9/16
Post by: EVILDR235 on April 03, 2021, 11:08:13 PM
So today I went to the Habitat Restore and bought a Williams L shaped socket wrench model no. 1981A It is also marked ( NOT GUARANT D SPCL DESIGN ) ( CHROME MOLYBDENUM ) ( THE SUPERRENCH  NO.1981A ) It is L shaped with a 9/16 six point socket on each end. One of the sockets opening is reduced in size. I am unable to do a picture at this time. Any info would be helpful. It is in excellent cond. Maybe a old engine connecting rod wrench ? I just found one on eBay that I didn't find earlier and the ad says for a Ford V8 but that's all ?

I am thinking / hoping Ford flathead. Nothing like a Ford flathead with lots of shiny stuff and a forest of 97's on top.
