Ordinary little box caught my eye at the thrift. $3, sure, cant fill it up, as it was already full. I did add the green handle driver, also found in the thrift shop.
-
Good score!! Is that 1/4" drive??
-
You did good. S-K doesn't get enough cred, squeezed out by flashier brands.
-
Nice find and at a great price.

A great score+++++

I guess I'm odd--I always personally thought S&K was THE name in sockets. Best Granddad had, best I have. I've thought Snap-On was always overrated, and overpriced.
I have a bit newer set--mid '80s I think. 1/4 drive, but no breaker bar. My metric set has a proper S&K driver, but in the SAE (which was mostly incomplete), I added a Challenger that also doubles as an extension (1/4 female slot in top of handle).
I'm really jealous of that $3 score! Great price! S&K no longer uses those solid steel boxes. Now, they use plastic cases on which the latches break very easily. At least that's my experience with tool cases other than S&K.

SK seems to get plenty of appreciation on eBay. Everything SK seems to go for big bucks.
-
S-K should go for good prices.
They are quality tools.
Top notch rats. And I really like their older fat chrome sockets.

$3 was a steal! I hope you were wearing your mask!

Nice tools. Can’t beat SK they are another of my favorite tool brands.
-
Two thumbs up!

Sweet score! Love the old SK and SK-Wayne stuff!
