I found this at an estate sale last weekend. It's an assortment box from Crescent Tools of Jamestown,N.Y. Only 2 compartments had any jaws.No other parts were in there, just odds and ends.I thought it was pretty cool.

thats NEAT!!
I saw one on Ebay years ago, and I still kick myself for not buying it.

Into the 80s every distributor of cresent wrenches had one in the store to serve customer needs. Hardware stores often had a similar box with a less deep stock.
In many cases the part was free, and that system generated a lot of customer loyalty.

I think they come up on eBay once and a while. I have seen 3 or 4 on there over the years.

Any chance you would be willing to sell me one of those jaws? I have a double ended crescent that is missing one jaw, not sure which one I'll have to check when I get home

Oh shoot yeah that's cool! I've been trying to "make" a box of repair parts for myself, after finding out what the local hardware store is charging for those parts!!!
Anytime I find a Crescent wrench I grab it- even if the handle is bent, it's broke or rusty. I disassemble it for the parts and sort it out into my stash box. Next time I find a NOS missing a part, I can fix it.
