Title: Vintage Utica Drop Forge & Tool Co. Counter Display-Pliers only
Post by: keykeeper on December 05, 2013, 03:30:33 PM
I spotted this display earlier this year while on vacation. It was in an antique mall in NC, if I recall correctly. I couldn't fork over the cash they wanted for it (over $200), but I did grab these pictures for everyone's amusement!!

It was for pliers only. Drawers in the back for the shop keeper to get what the customer wanted. The sides and back were skinned in tin, with lithographed printing and artwork. The drawers were wood, I think. Both ends were the same, thus only one pic of the end. The top was just the plain, faux woodgrain print used on the rest as background.

Enjoy

P.S. There were NO pliers with it!!!! Dadgummit!!!

This one was way overprice for what it was. Beautiful artwork to it, though.
