500+ item catalog list with pictures just posted on the Kliewer Auction web site ( http://www.kliewerauction.com/friesenwrenches.html ) Farm implement + patented / adjustable wrenches & other tools and much more.
Aurora is about 70 miles west of Lincoln, NE. (I may be able to do absentee bids on the same basis as the MVWC spring meet auctions at York, NE ) -- Stan Schulz

A follow up. The catalog for the Friesen collection sale on the Kliewer Auction web site is 14 pgs.
I've taken all the related photos and compiled them into a single 39 page pdf. I'll be glad to forward the pdf to anyone who sends me an e-mail request.
Regards, Stan Schulz

Stan forwarded me the catalog. A lot of nice stuff in the sale, farm wrenches as well as many other types of wrenches, tools, oil can etc... Well worth the look. A lot of rare stuff as well as common stuff, could be some bargains in there.

Another follow up -- it turns out that my "big box retail" employer wants all hands available "black Friday weekend" so I'll most likely miss the sale myself.
Larry Senff is another local MVWC member & has agreed to take absentee bids -- I'll help him out as much as I can. He farms & is outside most daylight hours. His e-mail address is lsenff at stewireless.com His home phone is (402) 732-6812 and snail mail: Larry Senff // 1920 Road K // York, NE 68467-8079.
He helped with the implement wrench & oil can portions of the Friesen collection catalog.

I've posted information on the Friesen Auction on my website www.wrenchingnews.com (http://www.wrenchingnews.com)
Also uploaded Stan's .pdf file of enhanced photos at http://www.wrenchingnews.com/friesen-auction-photos.pdf (http://www.wrenchingnews.com/friesen-auction-photos.pdf)

WOW!! really nice stuff,
why & how do you use a double claw hammer? (#400 & 401)
9 nice gas torches!!, (Batz, mid page-1)
-
Pound them in with one side and pull them out with the other side. ;) The second claw is used on longer nails so you don't have to use a block under the hammer to pull them all the way out.

Aurora is about 3 hours from me. Real tempting, but kinda afraid to go to something like that. I mean I get dizzy looking at all the one of a kind items. Then get home with some fantastic stuff and go: Where am I gonna put it?

OK, I can see that! Thank you...
