Title: Corner Braces in the Wild!
Post by: johnsironsanctuary on October 10, 2013, 10:18:24 AM
Found these at an estate sale last weekend along with four monkey wrenches and a vice. Glad I found some Cocobolo the weekend before.

Hibbing Spencer & Bartlet Our Very Best  No 55-10 in.

Only marking I can find is a No 8. I did some searching and these two are not Stanley and not Millers Falls. I'll keep researching.

This one is marked No 5.

Finding one is an achievement; finding three...well, that's ridiculous!  Now I suppose you're going to tell us they were $1 each.

Took me years to find one at a price ($15) I was willing to pay for something that I'll probably never use, but like having.

Last one I saw sold for $45, that's a hell of a find.
