Hey guys my names James From Canada not sure how many canadian members are here... but hopefully Im welcome hahah
anyway the reason i signed up here is because a couple years ago a friend of my aunts was... put into a home or some kinda mental hospital. His son had come to his apartment to clean it out and whatnot.. there was a tool or old carpenter chest he had and it was full of old tools ..
no wrenches hah but many old carpentry/metal working and some random tools/devices in it..
Long story short my Aunt passed away last year and she had previously offered the chest to me because she had no use and knew i was interested in tools/gadgets so Its mine now and most of the stuff in there from what i could find on the net is somewhat common stuff but I was wondering if I could post pictures and descriptions with any markings or measurements on each item and see if anyone wants to pick away and see if they can identify items with any stories about them or even if you know what some things may be worth today or what not. so if anyone could let me know if this would be ok and where and how i should post them on the forum it would be appreciated muchly :)
also sorry for my god awfull grammer.. this might be hard on the eyes lol
thanks in advance :) ill check back soon to see if anyone might be up to the challange. I havent yet started cataloging the items in picture forum as i dont know if anyone will want to bother checking them out but this place seems full of old tool junkies so i figure its worth a post :) thanks again

Welcome to Tool Talk!
Sure we would like to see pictures of the tools! Post either in the appropriate forum, such as Woodworking, Automotive, etc. , or in the Picture forum. Be sure to read the "Stickies" about picture posting.

Welcome here. And your pictures are welcome, too! We like pictures almost as much as we like tools. An old carpenter's tool chest full of old tools sounds like Christmas!
