FYI only. For those of you that are on Facebook and have an interest in tools, you may want to "follow" the Institue for Traditional Ozark Crafts. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Institute-For-Traditional-Ozark-Crafts/307595563437?hc_location=stream
They tend to regularly educate me on the ways of those settling this region....tools, methods, and such. Very interesting group.

Thanks for sharing ! Nice site ! Check out the post from July 17 !
I figured I should actually know where/what the Ozarks are , so a little google time led to ..
The Ozarks (also referred to as Ozarks Mountain Country, the Ozark Mountains, and the Ozark Plateau) are a physiographic and geologic highland region of the central United States. It covers much of the southern half of Missouri and an extensive portion of northwestern and north central Arkansas.
And when I hear Ozarks, I cant help but think of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils !!

Thank you Oily! I can see I'm going to be spending some time at the site. There's a million things there I want to put my hands (and tools) to.
