Title: new finds
Post by: benjy on July 23, 2011, 04:45:43 AM
not much about today but these 2 hooked onto me
the adjustable is made in england, stamped with pat and reg numbers,,but no brand,,why go to the trouble of patenting, then not branding?
the multi tool is cool,,6 inches long with hammer and screwdriver. sadly the name is faded
whats left is "the ,,,,,,list companion.   any ideas guys?

On the theory that it looks a little like a spoke wrench, perhaps the [bi]cyclists companion? (I can not find any reference to that name tho)

Branding on the other wrench may have been by paper label...long since lost...

The jaws on the bottom adjustable wrench look like they are angled to hold fasteners properly as the size gets larger. Interesting innovation, if I'm right.

...perhaps the [bi]cyclists companion?.

Automobilist, bicyclist, cyclist or motorcyclist would seem to be the most likely candidates...
