Title: machine tooling , scrap?
Post by: skipskip on August 02, 2013, 10:20:14 AM
I have always been told that once tooling gets rusty, it is junk.

not being a machinist, I have believed it.

So, just before I put this stuff  in the scrap  steel bucket, please take a look and see if any of it is NOT junk

The three on the left are accessory jaws for a Eifel-Flash Plierench. NOT JUNK.

Exactly what I was thinking, Bus!

The other pieces look cool, though.  Would make awesome pieces for a welded up junk sculpture!!

The three on the right are old hob cutters, used for cutting gear teeth. And unless someone wants them as a conversation piece, they are junk.
