Title: Vlchek open end wrenches wanted
Post by: lucakiki on July 21, 2011, 11:17:45 AM
(http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/data/500/Italy_Vlchek_1_.jpg)
I need a 729 and a 34A in the very same style as the  wrenches in the picture.
No need to ship to Italy, if shipping abroad is a trouble.

There's a guy over at GG that just posted a pile of DOE's and after a little sorting had several Vlcheks pictured. You might want to take a look/see?

Sorry, but I  am not sure I understood your answer.
I need only the  two  ISN sizes I  mentioned in the style shown by the picture.

I have a lot of Vlchek wrenches. Here's a 729, but I don't see a 32A.

Sorry, guys, but the reason I  put the pictures, is to show EXACTLY the style I need.
If not exactly what I need, they have no use for me.

I need a 729 and a 34A, not a 32

Well, that one happens to have a 729 on it as well as a 32. My thought was that the 729 was one wrench and that the 32A was another because your wording in the original post states it as such. Your post does not clearly state that the 729 and the 32A are markings that would appear on the same wrench, and, the pictures aren't very clear and so might not be completely explanatory to those not as knowledgeable as you must be. In other words, it's not possible to rule out or include any/every style variation on the basis of your picture.
In any case, it doesn't cost you any more to look at the pictures than it does us. I put it there so that you could look at it and determine if the item in question even exists. All for free; only my time and effort taking and uploading the picture for you to look at was spent. So, just a "nope, that's not it" and "thanks" will do from my perspective.
If you 'put the pictures' that do show 'exactly what you need', I may check again.

Boy this is getting confusing, and I'm already confused.

I think Luca is looking for 2 wrenches, a 729 and a 34A. They have to be stamped on one wrench face with the size and Vlchek (I can't really tell from the pictures) on the other. It looks like a #32 is forged into the shank of one wrench but that is not a wrench number. Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm still recovering from the C-man Catalog thread.

Exactly,Eddie!
I am looking for TWO different wrenches.
One has the 729 ISN, and the other the 32A ISN.
As most guys know, the ISN is a quick way to define the sizes of the opening.

As shown in my pictures, there should not  be the Vlchek shield nor FORGED IN USA  forged in on the shank.

The 32 that appears forged on the shank is just some Vlchek code(most likely a mould/dye identifier) but has nothing to do with the wrench ISN.

It is just as simple as that: 729  and 32A are the two ISN that I need, and the style has to be the same as the wrenches in my picture.
Close is not enough.

On the head opposite to the one with the ISN, on the right in my picture, you can read, with a little effort, ALLOY STEEL VLCHEK.

To kxxr:  "nope, that's not it" and "thanks".

EDITED: As mentioned in my other posts, the ISN  I  need is 34A
Thanks to Eddie for pointing out the typo.

Luca

Is it 34A or 32A ?

You are right, Eddie! I mistyped the ISN...

It is 34A, as clearly stated in my original post, which in my opinion is clear enough.
Thank you for pointing out the error.
I will edit it.

I still need those two Vlchek wrenches.
729 and 34A

A special thank you to mrchuck, who sent me a picture of a 729 very close to what I  need, although not exactly "the" kind.

I Was just looking through all my Vlchek's two days ago. Those look familiar. It may be a while before I get back home but I'll look when I do.
