Title: craftsman pliers

went to auction last night  zero on buying but a friend brought a gift for me. a pair of really nice craftsman pliers says on plier craftsman a circled B and 4502 i can not find any info on it. i have been having this morning finding anything this morning so if any one could enlighten me i would appreciate it  bob w.( old and feeble today)

The circle B mark isn't in Lauver's list of makers, and 4502 isn't in my catalog...so don't feel bad - P

no,it is a definite (B)   says craftsman usa 4507 i looked this mornibg with a loop found the 4502 was really a 4507  bob w

#4507 is listed on page 20 in the 1949 Catalog as a 7 1/2" Slip-Joint Side cutting pliers. Price $1.98

The grip pattern may provide a clue too...

not a chance of me getting a picture that good of the stamping I can hardly read it
the handle pattern is a series of triangles gradually made larger.  bob w.
