My friend was cleaning out his 1 car garage that is being torn down to make way for a new 2 car garage.
He didn't want this, so he gave it to me.

I need more friends like that. Those are a great jack!

Our VFW could use one of those to haul some of those big uns off the bar stools and out the door.
-
Wow!! does it work? what's the lift height? looks like it could lift something up to your tailgate for loading...
-
Yeah, it works. Goes to 55" off the ground.
-
While they will work great on a jeep they are not so useful with cars these days. What they are extremely useful for if you make your own ends is lifting a zero turn up to get at the blades.
I picked an air over oil one up last summer and have yet to make ends for the zero turn yet.
-
Had to look up "Lift a Zero turn & blades" to know what it was, looks like the MoJack wheel pads could fit in this jack.
-
Your friend sure did give you a nice jack :)
-
Useful if you have cars (from the 40s-50s) with bumpers attached strongly enough to lift the whole car by. Otherwise, somewhat limited in usefulness.
-
I dont put those jacks under my bumpers, I put them under the frame of my cars. Thats my most used jack
-
What is the rated capacity?
-
I would have to look but it picks up my 57 chevy wagon and my 60 Ford pickup with 460 engine. Those are probably my heaviest cars. It picks up my friends 72 Cutlass
-
Clean that up, paint it and treasure it. That is a wonderful garage tool. You have a great friend.
-
also very handy to lift a trailer when you want to repack your bearings, or change your tires.
quick, 1 point lift.
-
I want one of these badly! I used one for years.
Only a few cars are too low to get this jack under. All others.......... alley oop!
Anything under 2 tons goes right up, right now.
One of the best features is in conjunction with a full lift. You can get under and maneuver a heavy transmission or drop a large gas tank full of gas to get at the fuel pump. Lots of stuff.
Definitely an important shop tool!
You better quick paint it pink and purple or your friend, when he figures out how essential these jacks are, will try to take it back!
