Title: VW hub wrench
Post by: Lostmind on June 24, 2013, 09:43:39 AM
Someone posted a similar tool , Kent? I can't find the listing.
But I thought this VW hub wrench tool by KD was interesting. #2377
1/2" breaker bar or a striking surface for a hammer.
I don't need it, just picked it up because I was curious.

Always nice to have a set of slugging wrenches, just in case.

Nothing really special about the VW one besides the fact it fits on a VW, the pattern is available in all the standard sizes.

There is also a different slugging wrench pattern that is longer and heavier , without the square drive hole....

(Your pattern seems to trace back to Budd axels)

Thanks Rusty. I have seen others , but this number was specified as VW.
Certainly would work on anything.
