Title: An old printing block find - wrench ad, and more
Post by: scottg on July 13, 2011, 09:23:50 PM
Hey Guys
My friend Peter just snagged these yesterday.
They came form a small scale saw manufacturer, in Australia no less.
There is a wrench ad I knew youd liek but teh saw and other tool ads knocked out my lights too

He reversed the images so you can read them, but they are really backwards from this of course
 Here's the wrench

And here is the whole index.

Wow, those things are sweet. Wish I had a set to go in my shop.

Scott,

I have a printers block for a Champion post drill. Measures about 2-3/4 x 3/4 inch in size, but the detail of the engraving is amazing. I'll have to post a picture of it. When I got it, I also was bidding on blocks depicting a Champion forge, and Champion 400 blower. They went too high for me to snag!!

The two I didn't get went between $25-30 each, if I remember correctly. I paid around $16 I think for this one.

It is 2-1/4 inch long, 1 inch wide. Note the detail!!

It sits on my desk, just to look at!!

EDIT: I went ahead an reversed it and put that up, also. Just in case anyone wanted to read the writing on it.
