Title: Early 20th century Auto tools re-listed

Thanks for the consideration but I wait until the last few moments, I put in the highest amount I would like to pay for the item, some people call it sniping and I have heard it used in a negative context. I dont see it that way, I want the best deal I can get like anyone else and so I dont see the point of increasing the numbers slowly over time giving others the time to ponder if they would like to pay just a bit more.

If I win the item than great, if I do not than thats OK too, feel free to bid or snipe away, it makes no difference to me, if I want an item bad enough chances are good I will win it.

I suggest you guys mention if you are bidding on an auction where there is some interest here. 3 members bidding against each other doesn't seem right (only for the seller :) ) I remember when Pawpaw and I were both interested in Mossberg #14 sets the first bidder would post his max bid and then if the bidding went higher the other would jump in. As a side note I believe we both lost out to someone else on every auction.:(.

That second bidder notification goes up when the original bidder decides to increase his original bid, and enters a second, higher dollar bid.

Yep. I've done that more than once. If I rethink how much I want the piece and decide I *must* have it, I'll boost my max.

I spent a terrible amount of money on Sun on E-bay for literature that I have been seeking and my books come first so I was out of the loop on these tools.
