Title: old tool chest
Post by: john k on April 16, 2013, 08:16:14 PM
It is on the 'bay,  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Oak-Machinists-Box-Chest-trunk-19th-Century-Tools-Drawers-Primitive-/121095521424?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c31db0490........... Interesting enough I"d bite except for the cash factor.   At first I thought it was maybe a dental display, but inside the lid are the bits that hold saws.   How about a traveling *pattern maker* toolbox?

That's a cool box, but likely out of my league trying to restore it.
I do have a small Gerstner box in our great room, but...
dont think I could talk my wife into letting me add that one, no matter how nice!
