Would be a great machine for a tool and die man.   Where every last piece was machined or filed to fit.   Wonder how many are out there?

My friend, Don, has a small one.  They used to be common in tool and die shops until EDM and CNC came along. I have seen home versions made from scroll saws.

Still being used in small shops, bring good money on that auction site. Here is a pic of mine paid 25$ for it at Hershey swap meet, 2 rows over the wife found a can full of files for 5$ They guy offered to throw the junk inside away if we didn't want it.

Many years ago I worked at GM Australia as a toolmaker, I spent quite a few hours using one of those.
