Title: Blackhawk and Herbrand

 Got a little box at auction today. Had several things in it but I liked these not so new Blackhawk and Herbrand wrenchs.
top to bottom
4422 Blackhawk
4230 Blachhawk
420 Blackhawk
Herbrand no visible number 9/16 id and 7/8 od with tapered sides. Usage unknown. Maybe drain plug?

Almost every time I see an old Blackhawk tool, it is something I have never seen before. I can not help thinking we have only scratched the surface of what is floating around out there...

If you are going down that road, I hope you have a large wall ;P

Drain plug wrench might also just be a pipe plug wrenche, pipe plugs were use a lot in engines to plug casting access holes and such....

The Herbrand wrench looks like a unmarked Ford Model T wrench 5 Z 156 ("L" socket wrench for main bearing bolt, square).

 The Ford marked wrenches I have that are like this are made by Herbrand.

 Makes sense that the Herbrand is for Ford. At least two of the Blackhawks are for Fords. There were also three hub cap wrenchs in box and two of them were T1349 Ford wrenchs. The other one is unmarked.
