Title: Stevens & Co wrench

Picked this wrench up today.  Noticed it was stamped "Stevens & Co".  Was wondering if it might be from the Stevens and Duryea car company?  It looks like an automotive wrench from the model T era.  Any ideas?

Possibly Stevens & Co.  375 Broadway, N.Y.C.  "Toolsmiths since 1899"  that shows up in 1918.   The same company produced the STEVENS SPINTITE  nut drivers in the 1920s, & other hardware specialties.

I have never seen an auto wrench marked in that location.
Now I am going to have to go look at all mine again ....

The odd location, the fact it is stamped, and the fact it looks sort of like vlchek's makes me think it was probably sourced by someone else for Stevens...

Stevens & Co made and sold , also, special auto service tools, so it makes sense they would include in that line auto wrenches, tho this is the first one I have seen ...

This is the Stevens that merged into Stevens-Walden Worcester eventually...
