For anyone interested, I picked up a copy of Schulz's wrench book last week thinking that someone on the forum might be interested in it.
Condition is very good, no loose pages or tears...that I saw. It was Copyrighted in 1989 and has been long out of print. The book is for sale to Tool Talk members only. Must have at least 5 posts in the last 2 months.
Price is $50.00 which includes media mail postage to the lower 48 only. For what it's worth I paid quite a bit more than this for my copy. Unfortunately they don't come up for sale real often.
PM me if you are interested.

If for whatever reason Plyerman ends up not wanting it, I would sure like to be next in line. Jim.

Jim, I'll put you on the list, but I'm afraid it may be a long wait. I watch for them all the time but this was only the second one I've ever found(I still have the first one).

Thanks Mike.

Got the book from Mike a couple weeks ago and it has already proven to be a great reference source. Thanks again Mike!
Jim, don't know if you are still in the market, but I spotted this tonight on ebay:

You guys would probably hate to see all the corrections & additions I have in my working copy (like the transposed description lines for items #812 and #911 ). Dad passed down to me the examples shown in #319 & #873.

So when can we expect to see the updated edition available for sale Stan? (heh heh)

Stan, I would be interested in a project to reprint that book.

Given my "retirement" has turned into starting on the ground floor in a new field of endeavor; maybe shoot for 25th anniversary of the 2nd edition -- it came out in '92 +25= 2017 so that gives me three or four years.
When mom finally left the book go out of print we had the opportunity to keep reprinting. From my view, it has enough errors and "not enough information" entries to let it go.
Given the brave new world of electronic books etc. a new edition might well be "digital native" with a "print on demand" aspect for those who'd want paper copies.
One thing that keeps happening is "new information." For example, I was going through the 1897 Canadian patents via a google books digitized volume of Canadian Patent Office Record. And there was a patent matching the "ADJUSTABLE TWIN" (S#917 ). At what point does one cut off research and focus on arrangement of existing content.
