I think that file is for ignition points. At least I have seen similar shaped ones used for that.

Nope. That's an auger file. The only thing that will safely sharpen auger bits. One end has
blank edges and the other end has blank sides so you can control the cuts.
Great haul. I can't help but notice the 4" Proto adjustable.

Nice haul! I've read about those auger files but have never seen one. That little 4" proto and the 3/4" drive sockets caught my eye for sure.

Looking over this cache, was thinking, I could just about duplicate it without going out to the shop! I just about to post about the file,,,,, just re-located mine,,, that Craftsman ratchet screwdriver turns to become a T handle doens't it?
