I don't know the story behind this shot, possibly a wartime photo?

Post war the Woodies got a big ugly chrome front grille, so perhaps...
(Guessing the one in the photo is a '41 +/-...)
Wonder what the grass clippers are for fixing? LOL

I kinda think this is a staged photo for: Moms taking care of things on the home front. Clippers, old Ford monkey wrench, 3 lb. hammer, jack and 4way, even a little alligator. Not much you could do to a flathead with that assortment. The 41 Ford woodie would probably had a decently chromed bumper originally, and it and the paint look rather weathered. Amazingly the white walls look real good.

Yep the white walls look good but I don't see any tread on the tires. I ran a lot of baldies with nice white walls in the old days and never had a flat. These days the only flats I've had are with relatively new tires. As a matter of fact never had a flat in the ole days. LOL Not that I am recommending that people should drive on bald tires, just kind of strange stuff from my past.
