I have this ratchet I'm assuming is a refrigeration ratchet. It is marked only with "6105" and with "Made in USA" on the reverse. I'd be interested in learning more if anyone has information to offer. Thanks in advance!

Kent-Moore J-6105 refer ratchet, almost certainly made by Bonney for KM.

Thanks! Somehow I get this feeling that wasn't all that difficult for you. Why "almost certainly..."?

I'm actually inclined to think it's a Walden...

OK, then ,just... probably.
Bonney is a known maker of tools some other for KM, and the design looks identical to the one in Bonney's catalog.
Then again, who knows if Bonney made them as opposed to buying them from Walden....
Or do you see a slight difference in design detail I missed?

I was curious what led you there, and why you couldn't conclude with certainty. Just trying to learn. I doubt I see anything you missed.

Rusty too :)
Not ever certain unless it's stamped right there in front of me, or documented somewhere by someone who would know. 'Looks just like' is never the same thing as 'it is', and as lg insists on reminding me, this one looks 'just like' something else as well.
That's what makes this fun -P

Dad has two sayings; 1) "nothing worth having comes easy", and 2) "if it were easy everybody would be doing it."
