Scroll through this for pictures of most Plumb logos.

What does he wonder about?  The logo is one of the most common, so it's hard to date.  Plumb made very good axes and hatchets in my experience.  The Plumb broad hatchet I have keeps an excellent edge and rings like a bell.  About the only other thing to note is the pattern of the head.  There were quite a number of different patterns that manufacturer\s made.  The long, relatively narrow head, with minimal flare, identifies this axe pattern as a Puget Sound felling ax.
