The Craftsman item looks like some sort of jig apparatus for a lathe, but the only number on it is a 9012.
The other item is some sort of valve maybe for a transmission on a tractor or semi tractor. Was just hoping to get it narrowed down a bit closer.

#1 looks like a fixture to sharpen saw blades, perhaps a chain saw. It may be missing some parts.
#2 is a High/Low range shift valve for a Fuller (Eaton) Roadranger transmission. It is an air valve and runs a slave cylinder that moves the shift fork for the range shift collar. It was clamped to the side of the gear shift lever just below the shift knob. Newer versions are built into the shift knob.

Number 1 is a sharpening jig for chisels & plane blades. It is mounted on a bench grinder and the slide allows you to go across the wheel at a consistent angle. There were several discussions of it on the previous edition of ToolTalk. I do have an instruction booklet for it but no videos. I'll dig it out & scan it. Gene

Yup, it looks like the fairly large one too. I am sure it was marketed for sharpening joiner blades as well. If it will do a 6" wide blade it surely was.
The bracket screws to the bench in front of the grinder (at least many of them did).

Guys: I'm thinking 6" wide or maybe even a little wider. setting the grinding angle on an expensive blade would give me the willies.... . If aluminum parts have their won "patina", then this piece looks a lot like the finish on the very first drill I bougt from Sear in maybe 1968. Funny that part number doesn't come up in Google searches. Sears computers really don't like that number....lol

i got one the grinder jigs in some stuff at a auction this year i thought i would hang on to it and see if i could mount it a grinder that was all i could come up with
