Had to get this at the flea. It is the biggest auto type wrench i have seen, 18" long, weighs a ton, reinforced against the handle. Perhaps it's really a Sherman tank wrench?
Marked diamond calk horsehoe co/diamond duluth ..., but has no horseshoe logo....hmm
Jaws open to 4 1/2 inches...

I have the same wrench. Mine is factory marked Diamond Forged U.S.A. C716. I believe mine is probably newer than yours. Mine does have the horseshoe logo. Mine is also stamped on the fixed jaw with the letters SPTCO/SSWRY. It is a SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTITION COMPANY railroad wrench. I picked mine up at the flea market. No sign of ever being used with only very fine surface rust. Very well made wrench.

Interesting. I had not thought of railway use, it would make sense for it to be heavy....
I may have to look it over more carefully...

I picked up one of these 18 inch Diamonds last summer. Mine's marked something like SPTCO/SSWRY as well. At least a big wad of letters I couldn't figure out at the time. Now it's at the back of my shed where I can't get to it.

The Diamond railroad wrenches seem to be pretty common. I have seen several ones on Ebay and Worthpoint for sale.
